Working with Freeform Optics

OpticStudio 15 makes it easier than ever for users to design many types of freeform systems.  At the webinar, we will discuss:
  • Surface Type Selection Tool – NEW in OpticStudio 15
  • NEW Chebyshev Polynomial surface type in sequential mode: What it is and why to use it
  • Example: Transforming Gaussian to Uniform Illumination using a Chebyshev Polynomial Surface
  • Freeform Z object in non-sequential mode
  • Example: Optimization of an LED-Collimating Lightpipe in Non-Sequential Mode
