Installing OpticStudio with a Black USB Single-User Hardkey

This article is intended to help people with black USB single-user licenses install OpticStudio. 

If you use a Softkey, or Red / Green USB license instead (your license key serial number will be similar to L000001), refer to Installing OpticStudio for the First Time

Note that this article does not cover network installations.

For installing and configuring a client machine to reach a key server that uses a black USB key,(which is normally a 5 digit serial number) this is discussed in Installing OpticStudio with a Black USB Network Hardkey.

For those that need to configure OpticStudio to reach a key server that uses a softkey license, or a Red network license (your license key serial number will be similar to L000001), refer to How to Install the Network License Version of OpticStudio

If you use a Softkey, or Red / Green USB license instead (your license key serial number will be similar to L000001), refer to Installing OpticStudio for the First Time
